No. But you will be asked to complete a Health Questionnaire Form, which we are obliged to take for all patients. This can be emailed to you or you can complete when you arrive at the Clinic for your first appointment. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete before seeing the doctor.
The doctor may consider further tests are necessary to confirm a diagnosis, eg: blood tests, swabs etc. You will be advised of the cost of these beforehand. If in doubt, please discuss with the doctor or a member of reception staff before you leave.
Cash or card payments will be accepted. You will be asked to settle your bill for your consultation and for any other additional tests. e.g blood tests, immediately after your appointment prior to leaving the Clinic.
Whether your appointment or tests are covered by your insurance policy will be dependent on the terms and conditions of your insurance provider. Please note all our fees must be paid at the time of the consultation. We can furnish you with a receipt to allow you to claim back costs if applicable.
South Kensington GP Clinic has strong relationships with some of the finest specialists in London and can refer you to them for private appointments as required. If you are covered by medical insurance we would recommend that you get authorisation from them first.
We would be happy to change your appointment for another time if you need to cancel it. Please let us know as soon as possible, by calling 0207 591 1300.
Cancellations given with less than 24 hours notice or if you don’t turn up on the day, unfortunately incur a cancellation charge for the full consultation fee, as we will not be able to re-use the time to help other patients.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are running late for your appointment. Our reception team will do their utmost to accommodate you. However, the doctor may not be able to offer the full consultation length that was booked if you arrive late.
